Not quite the step up as those progressing from Foundation to Intermediate, but a lot of equations to try and remember, expanded topics that take everything to a new level. I studied with OARC, with the help of ChatGPT (cross-check results), GM6DX's study site and personal help from John Hislop. Take some time to get the right calculator and learn its functions.
The exam requires two video cameras, lots of coffee and reading the questions at least twice. Flag the answers you know are right, then don't return to edit them. If I can pass with my abysmal maths, then you have a chance! Watch this video by GM6DX.
Rewards include a jump from 100w to 1000w, all the current UK bands (including 5MHz bands) and an M0 callsign.

OARC - Online Amateur Radio Community Full course details *
This is a "fast track" online course. I would suggest some amount of self-paced training prior to attending the course. The cost is £5, which is excellent value, and the course takes place via an hour and a half video meeting on a Wednesday evening. If you are unable to attend, you can catch up the next day. A great feeling of community, learning and almost instant access to tutors via Discord. Once you have completed training, the Discord server is worth staying a member of, as there are lots of useful topics and knowledgeable members.
*Updated to 2024 syllabus 1.6
